THE WINTER'S TALE

 

The Winter's Tale is Shakespeare's fantastic story of friendship and suspicion, love and jealousy, birth and death - a tragic tale of winter that becomes a miraculous song of spring.




Trevor Eve plays the part of Leontes in The Winter's Tale. His theatre credits include John, Paul, george, Ringo and Bert(Liverpool Everyman and Lyric, London), Filumena (Lyric), A Bit of Rough (Soho Poly), Children of a Lesser God (Albery - Olivier Award for Best Actor / Variety Club Award for Best Actor), The Genius (Royal Court), High Society (Victoria Palace) and Man, Beast and Virtue (National Theatre). his work for television includes Hindle Wakes, A Brother's Tale, A Wreath of Roses (Granada), London Belongs to Me (Thames), Shoestring (Variety Club award for Best Actor), A Sense of Guilt, Parnell and the Englishwoman (BBC), Jamaica Inn (HTV), Shadow of the Sun (CBS), Shadow Chasers (ABC), Flipside (NBC), Up to No Good (ABC) and A Doll's House (BBC). His film credits include Terence Davies'Trilogy, Dracula, Scandal, The Corsican Brothers and a Knight's Tale.
